Hi there;

Thanks for all who attended the March 15 military aviation call. We’ll keep the same date & time. We will have calls at 5:30 PM Sunday March the 29th, April the 12th & April the 26th. I may have some things come up in May and June that change the schedule…

With that, the login info for Sunday, March the 29th. Please use ONLY this login:

With that, here’s some topics. Just like Isaac would, putting the saddest first and happiest last.

a) Top Gun actor James Tolkan has flown west. An X user complied James’ scenes in the original Top Gun. All on the USS Enterprise.

b) A-10 Just Made Last Airshow Demo? A distinct possibility from Luke Days. Wish I was there… However, on X is a damn good love letter to the A-10.

c) Iran nicked but didn’t kill a Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet. The War Zone also covered.

d) Divergent is now 3-d printing…. cruise missiles. But as I covered back in the day, Lockheed Martin was also working on the same concept.

e) MV-75 Tiltrotor on fast trajectory to early adoption

f) F-15EX is getting new pods… and is a DCS mod.

g) Japan’s new EW jet is finally flying. Complete with many odd-looking attenas.

h) The Red Zone did an over-11 minute video about Tactical Air’s upgraded aggressor F-5s. Incredibly in an era of J-10s, J-20s, MiG Fulcrums and Sukhoi Flankers the ole F-5 still provides a realistic aggressor for Western air forces to train against.

i) The Iran Air War… so many things to discuss.

There you go. I will hopefully send out a reminder around 1-2 PM Pacific tomorrow.
